HitPay Singapore: separate PayNow and card payout evidence
Updated · 3 min read
For HitPay Singapore, PayNow and card sales belong to different balances: HitPay Balance and Card Balance (Stripe). Do not assume their sales or net amounts are members of one combined bank payout. Establish balance, currency, state and actual payout identity first.
The desktop apps export date, description, and amount as CSV. Open CSV in Excel to save an XLSX workbook. Statement support varies: verify the result against your own PDF.
Obtain web records at their actual scope
The reporting documentation describes web transaction exports and their selectable fields. Cashiers see only their own transactions, so a restricted export cannot prove complete business-wide activity.
- In the web dashboard, use Transactions → Export, choose the needed columns and Download. Retain date and Sales Channel filters; the documentation describes a completion email.
- Keep actual Method, Additional Reference, Currency, Charge Amount, Converted Amount, All Inclusive Fee Amount and Net Amount where available. Missing selected fields stay missing evidence.
- For an individual payment’s deductions, inspect Payments → Transactions → transaction → Fees breakdown.
- Use Bank Payouts → Transactions for balance history and identify the payout to investigate. A general sales export is not a documented list of that payout’s members.
- Compare that identified payout to independently retained bank reference, destination, amount and currency. Leave unsupported membership or receipt open.
Preserve balance and availability distinctions
The wallet-balance guide explicitly distinguishes Singapore’s PayNow and card balances. Its Philippines model must not replace Singapore’s. Pending, Available, In Transit and Reserve describe different states: In Transit is paid out but not yet received; reserve funds are excluded until moved back to Available. A net sales amount alone is not a bank receipt.
Two net amounts do not make one payout
Our fictional CSV has PayNow converted 100 SGD minus a stipulated fee 2, giving 98 in HitPay Balance. Card converted 200 minus a stipulated fee 6 gives 194 in Card Balance (Stripe). We read both rows and verified their separate component arithmetic.
| Teaching balance | Converted SGD | Given fee SGD | Net SGD |
|---|---|---|---|
| HitPay / PayNow | 100 | 2 | 98 |
| Card / Stripe | 200 | 6 | 194 |
Adding 98+194 gives 292, but does not establish a combined payout of 292. The case independently stipulates a bank observation only for the 98 PayNow example; the card receipt remains unknown. The given fee amounts are not current rates. Do not subtract them again from Net Amount or infer a foreign-exchange fee merely from the difference between Charge and Converted Amount.
Hand off the unresolved relationship
Record which balance, actual payout and destination evidence supports each proposed match. Separate unknown bank receipt from a pending/reserved amount and from a cashier’s restricted report. These have different next evidence requests; none authorizes a refund or payout-setting change.
Download the fictional separate-balance file and executed component checks. These are author-designed fields, not a live HitPay export or tested payout workflow.
For a PDF-only bank statement, LocalExtract prepares a local CSV, one PDF at a time, with date, description, amount. Review the extracted rows. It does not connect to HitPay or merge platform balances. Use the reconciliation guide for the shared bank-to-ledger checks.
