LocalExtract is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your bank statements are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. This policy applies to LocalExtract on macOS and Windows.

- Your bank statement PDFs
- Transaction data or financial information
- Account numbers or balances
- Any content from your documents
Data We Collect
If you create an account or subscribe to Pro, we collect:
- Account information: Email address for authentication
- Device information: Device identifier (for Pro multi-device management)
- Payment information: Processed securely by our payment provider; we don't store card details
Analytics
Our website (localextract.app) uses the following analytics services to understand how visitors interact with our site:
- Vercel Analytics: Collects anonymous page view and performance data
- Google Analytics: Collects anonymous usage data such as pages visited, referral source, and browser type
These analytics apply only to our website, not to the desktop application. The desktop app does not send analytics or telemetry data.
