Webster: request a statement copy and keep electronic delivery

Updated · 3 min read

The desktop apps export date, description, and amount as CSV. Open CSV in Excel to save an XLSX workbook. Statement support varies: verify the result against your own PDF.

Ask for the copy without changing routine delivery

Webster's electronic-communications terms allow paper-copy requests through the bank's listed contact route. For a personal account, the consumer contact in section 17 matches the number on the Personal Banking Client Service Support page.

Before calling, identify the account record and period you need. Ask the bank whether that copy is available, how it will be delivered and what the total charge will be. These are request-planning questions, not a prescribed authentication script or required-documents list. Complete the bank's identity checks through its official channel; a phone inquiry is not proof that the document has been issued.

The consent provisions distinguish requesting one paper copy from withdrawing consent to electronic communications. If the need is simply a duplicate document, ask for that copy and leave the separate delivery preference alone. If you also want to change future delivery, discuss that as a separate instruction with Webster rather than assuming the copy request does it. Electronic consent and statement provisions.

Price the copy rather than a recurring statement service

The Fee Schedule for Personal Accounts, effective August 20, 2026, lists $5 per item for statement photocopies. That is a copy charge; it is not a blanket price for every archive search, nor the recurring paper-statement charge for an account's normal delivery cycle. Ask whether any additional service charge applies to the record requested. Personal fee schedule, Photocopies row.

Keep using Webster's channels after the ownership change

The bank's current Santander acquisition FAQ says the acquisition completed August 20, 2026, while Webster login credentials and digital access remain the same. It also says Santander-branded branches cannot yet assist with Webster accounts. Therefore, use Webster's contact route for this request; the ownership change does not establish a new Santander statement menu or a longer document archive.

For the Webster copy, confirm availability and cost, distinguish the one-off request from routine delivery, and retain the resulting original record. Use the record planner to record your chosen route and the outstanding document period. If you later have a PDF (Portable Document Format) to organize, use the CSV (Comma-Separated Values) guide. LocalExtract extracts one PDF locally at a time to date, description, amount CSV; Excel can save XLSX. Review the rows before using the spreadsheet. Download options.
