Request the account record that you actually need

An account statement covers a statement period; proof of payment concerns a particular transaction. Before visiting BOV, note which account and period are relevant, whether you need an additional copy, or whether a single payment is the outstanding issue. These are preparation prompts, rather than a list of identity documents prescribed by the bank.

For a posted statement, section 2.13 directs customers to inform their BOV branch or send instructions through Internet Banking. The terms say paper statements carry a charge for digital-channel subscribers, and additional statements or multiple copies can also incur tariff charges. Keep transaction proof separate from an extra statement

If only one payment needs evidence, ask at the branch about transaction details and proof of payment. BOV's terms distinguish this branch-requested evidence, sent by mail without a charge, from additional account statements. Use the electronic record when a posted copy is unnecessary

BOV's current Internet Banking page confirms electronic statement access and downloading. The general terms explain that digital-channel users receive a Mailbox notification when a statement is available. Check the issued record before ordering another copy; the request routes above are useful when a posted statement or specific transaction evidence is needed, rather than as a replacement for every electronic record.
