Bendigo: statement PDFs or an 18-month transaction export?

The desktop apps export date, description, and amount as CSV. Open CSV in Excel to save an XLSX workbook. Statement support varies: verify the result against your own PDF.
Save an issued statement
Open Accounts, select the account and Statements, then the required statement. It downloads as PDF, meaning Portable Document Format. The statement help offers up to seven years for open accounts. Statements for closed accounts require your local branch; the open-account archive does not establish continued self-service after closure.
Download transaction rows for a recent period
From account Activity, use Download, or open account settings and Download Transactions. Choose the date range, file format and Download. The accounts FAQ describes an 18-month window and standard/extended CSV (Comma-Separated Values), OFC, QIF variants and BAI2. These are bank export choices, not LocalExtract export formats.
Use native CSV, a table-oriented data file, when it supplies the rows you need for a spreadsheet. For an older period outside that download window, look for the issued statement rather than repeatedly widening the transaction search.

Request the right replacement document
An interim statement can be requested by phone or branch; it is generated overnight and appears in e-banking the next day. Proof of Account is a different document, showing up to three months of transactions. Decide which result the recipient requires before requesting one as a substitute for the other. For Bendigo, choose the seven-year issued statement for the bank record, or the narrower native transaction export for selected data.
