Axos personal statements: online access, archive limits and copies
Updated · 3 min read
The desktop apps export date, description, and amount as CSV. Open CSV in Excel to save an XLSX workbook. Statement support varies: verify the result against your own PDF.
Open the personal statement area
The Axos personal help-video transcript, under finding account details, describes:
- Sign in to online banking.
- Select Accounts.
- Choose the account name.
- Open the Statements tab for monthly statements.
Transaction history and Tax Forms are separate account functions. Select Statements when you need the issued monthly record, rather than using a transaction screen or tax document as its substitute.
The Online Access Agreement, pages 27–28, effective February 9, 2024 and still linked by the current disclosure index, permits viewing, saving and printing eligible PDF (Portable Document Format) documents. Save the available statement with its document controls; the personal tutorial does not specify the final save-button label.
Read the archive conditions together
The current Personal Deposit Account Agreement, updated September 2026 says applicable monthly statements remain available online for at least two years after posting. Its electronic-record provisions describe requesting paper copies for up to five years after creation.
The Online Access Agreement’s document provisions give a maximum of seven years depending on account type, with shorter availability for some accounts. Later enrollment can leave historical gaps, and some accounts take several weeks to display online documents.
| Period or condition | What it describes | What to do with it |
|---|---|---|
| At least two years after posting | Applicable personal monthly statements online | Check the posting date, not just the transaction dates |
| Up to five years after creation | Paper-copy request period in the personal agreement | Ask about a copy; do not infer five years of visible files |
| Account-dependent seven-year maximum | Broader online-document ceiling | Do not assume every personal account has seven years |
| Later enrollment or initial delay | Possible gaps or delayed appearance | Include enrollment timing when asking about an absent record |
Check copy costs and separate check images
The personal agreement’s fee schedule, page 53 lists online statement copies as free and assisted archive statement copies at $10 per statement. Confirm the applicable account terms and request before incurring a copy charge. Those entries do not make every kind of paper document request chargeable.
The Online Access Agreement, pages 27–28 also separates deposit-account check images from online statements: switching from paper statements with check images to online-only delivery removes those images from the statement itself. Retrieve the individual image when that is the required evidence rather than treating statement text as the check copy.
Ask about the exact missing record
Axos personal support provides secure messaging after signing in online or in the app and choosing Messages. For a missing statement, identify the account and issued period through that secure channel and ask which copy option applies. Online statement availability after closure is not established by the document periods above.
The Axos statement planner separates online availability, paper-copy requests and check images. Fill it with non-sensitive account aliases and the period sought; it is an organizational aid, not a bank submission.
If you need spreadsheet rows from a saved PDF, LocalExtract processes one PDF locally to CSV (comma-separated values) containing date, description, amount. Excel can save that CSV as an XLSX workbook. Use the common CSV formatting guide and download options.
Find the statement through Accounts → Statements first. For an absent older record, distinguish the online archive from the paper-copy request period and ask about the applicable fee before requesting assistance.
